Twenty-four years managing operations (at restaurants like Morton’s Steakhouses and at Four Seasons Hotels), taught Michael a great deal and made him eager for new challenges.

He took two years off to travel the globe, visiting thirteen countries and exploring this great planet. He returned to his native San Diego feeling renewed and excited to search for an ideal business, one that could fulfill all of his passions: client service, cars, and the coast.

After looking at multiple options to apply his extensive hospitality background, attention to detail, and dedication to perfection, Michael decided on auto detailing. Finally, he looked for an experienced auto detailer to be a mentor. With his help, he launched Pristine.
